BEAUFORT, NC (June 1, 2026) — Parker Boats announced that Whitman Barnes has officially assumed the role of President. Whitman succeeds Scott Bauer, building on his impactful leadership and service to the company.
Whitman brings a strong combination of strategic vision and financial leadership to the role. Being raised in eastern North Carolina and having already worked closely with the Parker team, dealer network, and Correct Craft leadership, he steps into the position with a deep appreciation for the company’s heritage and loyalty of its customers. As President, Whitman will lead Parker through its next chapter of growth while continuing to honor the values and culture that have defined the company for decades.

Whitman has been on the water since he was just a week old. Growing up on these same coastal waters, he developed a lifelong passion for both inshore and offshore fishing that continues to shape his perspective today.
