2011
In 2011, Correct Craft evolved from a single boat manufacturer into a dynamic holding company, expanding its reach across the marine industry. This transformation marked the beginning of a new era, allowing Correct Craft to acquire and support innovative brands while staying true to its mission of “Making Life Better.” Today, Correct Craft’s portfolio reflects a commitment to excellence, growth, and leadership across the marine world.
2012
Aktion Parks was founded in 2012 with a mission to spread the joy of watersports in a family-friendly environment, making the thrill of watersports accessible to a mass audience. The acquisition of Orlando Watersports Complex (OWC) in 2013 marked the start of this journey, followed by the addition of Miami Watersports Complex in 2015, expanding its reach and impact. Over the years, Aktion Parks has become a leader in the watersports and wake park industry, earning two Wake Park of the Year titles and hosting prestigious events such as WWA Nationals, Worlds, and USA Wakeboarding competitions. Guests of all ages continue to enjoy a fun and educational experience both on and off the water.
2014
Pleasurecraft Marine Engine Company (PCM) was founded in 1975 in Canal Winchester, Ohio, and later relocated to a 140,000-square-foot facility in Little Mountain, South Carolina. Known for unmatched quality, durability, and performance, PCM has been a leader in inboard watersports engines for over 45 years. In 1998, the acquisition of Crusader Engines, a leader in gasoline inboards for the cruiser and sportfishing markets, led to the rebranding of the company as Pleasurecraft Engine Group. Soon after, Levitator Engines transformed the airboating industry, solidifying its market leadership. In 2014, Pleasurecraft Engine Group became part of the Correct Craft family, continuing its legacy of innovation with advanced engine technology for the watersports and airboating industries.
2015
Correct Craft acquires Centurion Boats, a brand known for building high-performance watersports towboats since 1976 from their headquarters in Merced, California. Centurion pioneered the wakesurfing-specific towboat and founded the World Wake Surfing Championships, which celebrated its 20th anniversary in the same year. Renowned for its innovation, Centurion has continued to evolve under Correct Craft’s leadership and culture, delivering the world’s best waves, wakes, and rides. With ambitious designs and inspired craftsmanship, Centurion invites watersports enthusiasts to reimagine their ride like never before.
Founded in 1968, Supreme Boats has always focused on delivering multifunctional family towboats that set the standard for value, design, and performance. As the only affordable premium brand, Supreme offers world-class performance, style, simplicity, and strength, helping watersports enthusiasts maximize their fun on the water at an exceptional value. Today, Supreme remains the fastest-growing boat brand in the industry, continuing to reign supreme in the world of towboats.
Correct Craft acquires Bass Cat Boats, a brand founded in 1971 by Ron and Jan Pierce in their two-car garage, inspired by Ron’s passion for the outdoors. Bass Cat quickly rose to prominence in the bass boat industry with innovative designs and high-performance tournament-ready Vee hulls. Over the decades, Bass Cat has built a legacy of innovation, quality, and community, fostering a loyal family of owners. Today, the brand continues to deliver excellence and memorable experiences for future generations, solidifying its place as a trusted leader in the outdoor industry.
Yar-Craft Boats, founded in 1967 by former Thompson Boats General Manager Jack Dallman, has built a legacy of excellence over 50 years, becoming the premier walleye fishing boat brand in the world. Initially known for runabout-style boats in the 1970s, Yar-Craft pivoted in the 1980s to meet the demands of fishermen seeking a boat that could withstand bigger waters and harsher conditions. The result was the iconic “Deep-V” fiberglass fishing hull, known as “The Dry One,” which quickly became recognized by multi-species anglers for its unmatched craftsmanship, durability, and ability to handle the toughest environments. 2016
SeaArk Boats, initially owned by the McClendon family, has a long-standing tradition of building high-quality, all-welded aluminum boats. Now under Correct Craft’s ownership, SeaArk continues to uphold its reputation for durability and craftsmanship with the slogan “Built for a Lifetime.” Led by company President Steve Henderson, SeaArk focuses on over-built boats that excel in performance and longevity. Not only is SeaArk the World’s Largest Jon Boat manufacturer, but its ProCat Series, introduced in 2009, has become the top choice for catfish anglers nationwide, especially in tournament settings.
