LITTLE MOUNTAIN, SC (December 13, 2023) – Pleasurecraft Engine Group, once again, partnered with the Newberry County Sheriff’s Department to provide Christmas toys for families and children in need. The Sheriff’s Department is distributing these new toys as part of Newberry’s Operation Santa Clause.

Each year, Newberry hosts Operation Santa Claus during the month of December to provide new toys to disadvantaged children and families who may not receive gifts otherwise. The Sheriff’s office reviews applications and chooses recipients based on need and other services that may be rendered. This year, the Sheriff’s office expects to donate toys to over 300 children and families in need.

Sheriff Lee Foster states, “It is a blessing for our staff to be able to facilitate bringing Christmas to children in need. We have always appreciated our citizens and local businesses that have supported and sponsored this yearly program.”

President of Pleasurecraft, Mark McKinney, stated, “We are proud to have a team of employees who look forward to giving back to our local community, especially during this special time of year. This team truly embodies our company mission of ‘Making Life Better,’ and we are grateful to have the opportunity to make the Christmas season a little bit better for children and families in need.”
