Beaufort, NC (April 23, 2024) – Partnering with the Carteret Community Theatre, Parker Offshore volunteers constructed a brand-new stage at the Theater’s interim location, the Atlantic Station Shopping Center, Atlantic Beach, NC. This demonstrates Parker’s commitment to supporting the arts and fostering community engagement.
The Carteret Community Theatre (CCT) has long been a cornerstone of cultural expression in our community, providing a platform for local artists and performers to showcase their talents. However, Hurricane Florence and COVID-19 created significant challenges for the theater group. Recognizing this need, the CCT board is looking to rebuild and has launched a capital campaign. To facilitate performances in their interim location, Parker Offshore stepped in to lend its expertise and resources to the construction of the stage.
