About Cutwater Boats

Cutwater Boats builds what’s known as the Do-It-All Cruiser, designed by lifelong boaters and made in the USA. Each model is built for confidence in a range of settings, from off-grid cruising for weeks at a time to a day of fishing with friends, with features that hold up whether the trip is an afternoon or an extended stay off the grid. That commitment extends to customer care, a priority at Cutwater since the first boat rolled out of the factory.

C-248 C

The C-248 C puts a contemporary spin on the classic Downeast design, built as a versatile outboard cruiser for fishing, cruising, and entertaining. A 360-degree view from the helm pairs with an aft bulkhead window that opens up, letting the dinette convert into a rear-facing cockpit seat. Onboard, a private stateroom, enclosed head, and full galley with a stove, microwave, and refrigerator bring the comforts of home along for the ride.

C-288 C

The C-288 C leans into Cutwater’s Do-It-All approach with twin counter-rotating Yamaha F250 outboards and a stout 10-foot beam that adds stability without giving up trailerability. The cockpit opens into a social space with seating for six, plus an overhead solar panel and sport racks for extra gear on extended trips. Inside, a full galley and climate-controlled cabin keep things comfortable, with a forward stateroom, mid-berth, and private head rounding out accommodations for six.

C-32 CB

The C-32 CB pairs performance with comfort, powered by twin counter-rotating 300 HP Yamaha outboards atop a double-stepped, deep-V hull for a smooth, stable ride at speed. Inside, wood accents and a fully furnished galley give the cabin a polished feel, with a forward stateroom and island bed plus a mid-ship stateroom that sleeps up to four additional guests. On deck, the cockpit offers expanding seating and an electric grill, while the foredeck tucks away a lounge for watching the sun go down.

“As long time boaters we have owned and run a wide variety of boats over the years. Soon after we bought our Cutwater we realized this boat is special. I joke with people that my previous boat was only a foot shorter but that this boat is twice as big.”
Arnie H.

“Our Cutwater 28 was the first boat we purchased and we’ve owned ‘living the dream’ now for 6 years. A big part of the experience has been the community of Ranger and Cutwater boats. Be it the events put on by the factory or the tugnuts.com website, which provides a massive collection of information and advice to new and existing owners.”
Gavin and Lisa

“We took our Cutwater on her maiden voyage to the Bahamas crossing the Gulf Stream in 6 to 8 ft. seas. Needless to say that’s one tough vessel. It has all the big vessel features on a smaller compact version – which makes it great on fuel, and lower maintenance.”
Scott T.
